Italian Stallion Pizza - My Hubby's Favorite



This Italian Stallion Pizza is a hearty and flavorful delight that's sure to satisfy your taste buds. It's loaded with a variety of toppings, gooey mozzarella cheese, and a perfectly crispy crust. It's a favorite among many, including my hubby!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pizza dough store-bought or homemade
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup sliced green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup sliced red onion
  • 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup sliced tomatoes
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for brushing
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions:

Set your oven to 475F 245C before you start cooking

On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to the size and shape you want

Place the dough that has been rolled out on a pizza stone or a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper

Spread the pizza sauce out evenly on the dough, but leave a little space around the edges for the crust

Put half of the mozzarella cheese shreds on top of the sauce

Spread the black olives, green bell pepper, red onion, mushrooms, tomatoes, and pepperoni out evenly on top of the cheese

Add the rest of the mozzarella cheese on top of the toppings

If you want, you can add crushed red pepper flakes, salt, black pepper, dried oregano, and dried basil to the pizza

To make the crust golden, brush it with a little olive oil

After the oven is hot, bake the pizza for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and a little browned

Take the pizza out of the oven and give it a minute or two to cool down

Add fresh basil leaves as a garnish and cut it into the servings you want
