Pinot Noir Paired with Grilled Salmon

This recipe combines the mild tastes of grilled salmon with the earthy and fruity tones of Pinot Noir wine. This wine has a medium body, which goes well with the light fish. The grilled tomatoes add a burst of freshness.

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes
  • 1 bottle of Pinot Noir wine

Instructions:

Warm the grill up to a medium-high level

Add salt and pepper to the salmon fillets after rubbing them with olive oil

Put a slice of lemon on top of every fillet

Salmon should be cooked all the way through after being grilled for four to five minutes on each side

While the salmon is cooking, put cherry tomatoes on skewers and grill them for two to three minutes, until they get a little charred

Take the tomato and salmon off the grill

Hot salmon should be served with chopped parsley, grilled cherry tomatoes, and a pinch of red pepper flakes on top

Pour glasses of Pinot Noir wine to go with the food
